My Background
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Psychology.
I have been in private practice for over four years, working with individuals across the lifespan, from young adults to older individuals, who are navigating a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns.
My commitment to specialized care is reflected in my advanced training. I hold a Certificate in EMDR Therapy, and I have pursued continued education in focused areas including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), complex trauma, OCD, and LGBTQIA+ affirmative care.
Ultimately, whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, or a major life transition, I'm here to support you in a way that truly honors your unique journey and values.
My Approach
I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, focusing on the whole individual—mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic space where we can work together to address challenges, foster personal growth, and build lasting resilience.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. I utilize an integrative, evidence-based approach, thoughtfully drawing from multiple therapeutic interventions to create a framework that is uniquely suited to your goals and needs.
Collaboration & Empowerment: Our sessions are always collaborative. I view you as the expert on your life, and my role is to empower you to step into that expertise and be the change you want to see.
A Human Element: While we will explore serious topics, I also believe healing should be human. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a sense of lightheartedness and humor to make our sessions feel grounded and accessible.
